My ocuk built system from 2012 is still going strong, only replaced the GPU.

Also, think of the millions of pre built symptoms people buy from the likes of PC world and Currys, how often did you hear about parts being replaced soon after purchase?

came expecting a picture of guy with a sledgehammer , AK-47 if usa, and, appropriate hole in the ground.

I fried the GPU in a pre-built from the purple one about 15 years ago and they actually replaced it out of goodwill! :eek:

Although once I learned the ways of the expensive, adult Lego, that was sharp replaced by parts from OcUK for a custom build.

I know a few peeps who have and the packaging has always been absolutely superb. I don't think you could squeeze a Rizla in them once all the foam stuff is done. It's almost as if some people have ideas in their head and just randomly pass this off as fact.

I know right? How odd.

Sometimes it can be the presence or absence of just one or two members that cause the problem. I noticed this on another forum: arguments all the time and then two members were permabanned and everything calmed down.

This place has actually been OK in the last few weeks, but I have noticed that one or two 'regulars' have been quiet, which probably helps.

How many people buy PC's from there that have a gpu or large non OEM CPU cooler?

They buy a standard pc which has far less stress on the motherboard.

My gpu takes up 3 slots for instance. It's heavy.

Using built in gpu on the cpu means far less risk.

Same goes for laptops. Far less risk involved. A proper custom built pc with heavy additional parts has a much higher risk of snapping something
