My XFX 450W PSU is making weird popping noise. The noise increases when I'm playing games or doing 3D rendering. What could be causing this? Is it safe to use the PC?

My PC rig
Intel 3770K 3.5Ghz
16GB XMS 3 Corsair Ram
Sapphire AMD HD 7950 3GB
ASUS P8Z77-V motherboard
Samsung SSD 128GB
2TB Seagate HDD
Samsung Blu Ray drive.

I recorded on my Microsoft Surface and uploaded on YouTube.

OK, so I put a hairdryer underneath my PSU to see if the fan is spinning without making popping noises. The fan spins perfectly without any noise whatsoever. I powered on the PSU to check to see what's happening inside and I saw a very small electrical spark inside. It is obviously faulty, so I just ordered a new one.

Cheers for the help guys.
