The switch on the back is stuck in the on position. I can hold it in the off position, but as soon as I let go, it goes back to the on position. Basically, it doesn't click. Is this fixable?

Oh and it's a Corsair PSU, so not some cheap and nasty thing.

You could replace the switch with another one but you need to open the PSU(void your warranty) and you need some soldering skills...

Another thing, the past few months, it's been making a loud popping noise whenever I switch it on.

I think I already know the answer to this but: do I need a new PSU? :p

The popping noise is probably due to arcing across the contacts in the switch.

If the psu works fine when its on then it will be ok once the switch is changed.
