My replacement BFG 8800 ultra wont work with LCD but will work with CRT monitor -HELP

tx m8, again proving the card is defective not showing boot screen . ie nothing at all to do with windows or drivers

Hopefully the replacement card will be ok. At least now they will send me another Ultra and not the gtx version :)

The fact they have sent you a non working card I find rather shocking seems they don't even test replacements they send out ?
 
Yeagh a gtx260 would be nice :) At least now that I officially have an Ultra thats the minimum they will have to replace.

Yes I am fed up they sent a duff card as I'm well out of pocket with postage charges. It makes me wonder if the Ultra they sent was already returned as faulty and jusr re-forwarded on to me :(

On a positive side they have very good returns turn around. The lifetime guarantee must be costing them a fortune though.

Anyway card will be in the post to them at lunchtime I'll let you know how I get on with the replacement

I just installed two of these in my comp and getting no display but not got a CRT to try to see if its this
