Dear Sir/Madam,

I feel that I have no option but to complain about the levels of service on Xbox Live over the holiday period. Since the fall update and especially over the Christmas and New Year period I have had nothing but problems whilst trying to connect to the Live service.

As a paying member for this service, I feel cheated and disgusted by the constant lack of connectivity and availability from the service.

I understand this is a widespread issue, and would like to know what measures are being taken to fix the problem, and to compensate those users affected by these issues, bearing in mind that as loyal Microsoft Xbox Live customers we are paying for a service that we are not currently receiving.
9 days it took to reply. Guessing they might have a few emails in their inboxes currently :p

Have fired another suitably upset email over in response, moaning about why we havent been contacted either before the service was upgraded, or since and also to ask why the completely sidestepped the issue of compesation of some sort, when its in the public domain about the Live Arcade game that might be available for free.

Really starting to get to me this now, as I still seem to have sluggish connectinvity which makes the dashboard crawl.

What's the point of this e-mail chain? They didn't kill it for that long on purpose and they're offering a game that costs more than the loss of connectivity during that period for free. Do you expect them to give you something extra because you send an e-mail to them?

Not very impressed by their reply, but Microsofts Xbox Live department is full of utterly useless muppets, so I would never have expected anything less.

Their call centers are worse, full of people with ethnic features. and you cannot understand them at all

Not being able to understand what someone is saying due to their accent has nothing to do with how well they can or cannot do their job. Some people are just hard to understand, just look at Geordies ;)
