Can I get better under £700?

I am looking to make this PC, doe's anyone have any contributions to help how I can make this better for the same price?

(ps. I don't want to sacrifice the rest of the hardware just to get a 5850!!)
(I'm xfiring the GPU in a few months anyway)

Looks good apart from the price of the 4890. I cant help but think as ur ordering windows 7 which doesnt come out until 22 Oct that u should wait til then to order everything and u may find the 5850 falls into ur price bracket or failing that pushes the prices of other ATI gfx cards down as stock of 5800 cards becomes plentiful.
 
Its okay now. I'll be getting it by christmas, I rreally can't wait to get rid of this archaic crap :)

I have messed around and have a set-up like this but a Q9550 :):)

Ryan-3 Why are you thinking of spending so much money on old tech? you could go the core i5 route for the same sort of money.
 
The foxconn is DDR3, but it's dual channel DDR3 not tri. And I'd personally go for the cooler I suggested, or the Tuniq Tower. I'd really lean towards i5 setup more than the dead s775.
 
Alex you are wrong that is a ddr3 board it will happily take that ram as i have used it on that board myself otherwise the rig looks good
 
Perfect but u need the RAM to be 2x2GB dual channel DDR3 not multiples of 3 (as there are 4 slots on P55 motherboards) :D Note the XFX 4890 is £142.99 on this week only offers and is the exact same card but different manufacturer.

Yeah go for the G-Skill Ripjaw memory, the 1600MHz stuff will be fine, and also the tuniq tower as far as I'm aware doesn't come with 1156 fittings, so you might want to change that.

Wrong is a bit of a strong word, my emphasis was on the dual channel as opposed to triple channel (on which i was right). But I stand amended on DDR3 support.
