So yeah.
I had a pice of salmon that was getting old a pretty thin cheap fillet from tescos discount section. I couldn't be arsed to fry it and the grill's broken so thought 'd try the microwave poaching method like the chicken thread (which worked well).
So put it in bowl full of hot water into microwave for 3 mins, came back had a lok about 1:38 into cooking opended the door and saw and the little thin bit of the fillet was sticking out of the water then a second later that little bit burst
Thought it was weird and must have been because it came out of water, stuck it back in for rest of time did some dishes then with about 10 secs left heard massive bang whole microwave covered in water and fish bits,(bowl fortunately dint break and retained a fair bit of salmon.), the whole fillet has exploded, whats left in the bowl looks like that flakes/mashed salmon you get in a tin.
The salmon actually tastes quite nice though
Sorry no pictures as i don't have a camera, but feel free to try it
(best not actually is a bugger to clean up
)
