My samsung "internet" app is locked on using google.es, how can I fix this?

As per title every search I do in the Samsung internet app comes up as a google.es search. I went to barcelona a fortnight ago and I presume this stems from then.

The google chrome app works fine, and searches are shown to be using .co.uk.

I have tried deleting the cache and all data from the samsung app and restarting the phone, but it has not fixed it.

Have you used GPS (the maps app specifically) since Barcelona?

If you haven't I'd try going on that and letting it find your location via GPS.

If you've already used it you can set it to use Google.com instead of .es by going Settings>Google>Search then choosing to use .com instead of local Google until you find a proper fix .
