my scirocco engine swap

Inflate your tyre(s)!

Looks quite nice, but blimey it's low (awaits 'Smashed My Sump on a Road Hump' thread)! Those BBS rims are sexual. I look forward to seeing them fitted

Just be damn careful of those ridiculous side-by-side small road humps that are 'straddleable'.

cheers for the comments,

the sump is too low to be honest. im gona have to wind up the coilovers untill i can afford a shallower sump.

the blue hose is just a temp fit. a mate had that lengh spare from his car so i just stuck it on.

im getting the brakes sorted tomoro so i can let you know how it goes.

the few things left to do are,

Need a new MAF sensor as mine seems to be goosed.

need to find a slim fan for the rad. (scrap yard suggestions welcome)

i need to tidy out the massive collection of bits that are laying about in the car.

the exhaust needs a little bit more work where the downpipe meets the middle section.

will probably fit the G60 brakes tomoro too.

Jason.

sorry for the lack of updates!

here are a few more pics,

unfortunately someone in a motor home bumped my drivers door while the car was at the garage where a mate was working on it.

the car is now running 220bhp and it drives fairly well.

i am planning on having it painted in the next few weeks, iv got a new drivers door to go on aswell.

iv also got a t3/t4 turbo to fit and stainless manifold, plus some other things im going to be doing in the engine bay line changing to a hydro clutch and mk4 brake servo/master cylinder and mk4 engine mounts.

i will keep yous updated

Jason.

Jaswan - saw you driving up the A179/A1086 the other day and nearly took a pic - didn't realise you were up in Hartlepool. Look VERY nice on the road. Which garage you used?
