Fibre delivered over wireless for £25 a month - ping is normally ~13ms (other users online).

After years of 3Mb adsl I'm a happy badger.
 
But, As good as that is. What benefit does it give the average joe at home.

I can fully understand it for businesses and people who work from home. But I am meaning the normal house that generally surfs the internet and perhaps plays a on line game now and then.

Not knocking it. Just curious of the advantages.

For me it would be the wifi factor outside of the home if it was introduced with wifi masts. The speed is for videos like youtube/bbc iplayer.
 
Nearly as good as mine, doesn't help when your sister renders 5 videos at 720p at the same time whilst playing online flash games
