Hey all, a few days ago i started gettin this error:

i did a adware scan, and that has seems toget rid of it, but before the scan, my hard drive kept going, and i need a reboot to get it back up and runnin, this happened every half hour and this is the error message i get:

Can some one please help me, as it has everythink saved on and all my course work is on there, and i need it for monday

The only way to be sure if the hard-drive is on it's way out or not, is to run a full/advanced test - almost always available for download from the manufacturer's website.

the delayed write failed message was the one I got when my hard drive was on its way out. run hd tach on it and see if it's affected its performance. Mine was down to 4mb/sec before it went off on an rma holiday.
