... but presumably you buy in bigger quantities, I use whole foods online, so for most in the immediate use jar, there is another 200g elsewhere in an air sealed packet - the spice dungeon.

I'm not alphabetic ... moreover grouped in themes indian / oriental / desert / other venn diagram structure.

where do you buy from ?
freshness of some of the lesser used spices is always a concern - I should bin some old coriander/5yrs and ginger, equally spice turnover on bulk made curries is large.

surely the Asafoetida should be triple wrapped in cling-film, encased in carbonite and then dropped in the Mariana Trench and even then you'd open the kitchen door and go "what on earth is that smell?"
