Evidence of what exactly? Selling a car which has been crashed and then repaired wasn't a crime last I knew.

How does an oil leak lead you to conclude that your car has a bogus identity

Also, repairing a damaged car is not illegal. Replacing a whole "front end" (whatever that may entail) is also not illegal.

He also said they said it failed on the front discs but passed once they were done. I took that as it coming with just about a full MOT that they admit to getting done. If the repair work is dodgey then the MOT is dodgey then they are all ****** & your money will either come back sharpish or you can get the old bill involved.
