have i a problem with my 5090.all was good until today while playing crysis2 then the screen went black so i went into event viewer to a load of nvlddmkms in event viewer . so installed the last driver of nvidia app. played some cyber punk and its goes black again . what is going on ?

What PSU are you running?
Did the PC crash or reboot? Or was it still running with a black screen?
Maybe time to check that cpu and its pads for any sign of discolouration or burn marks and the motherboard socket.
That's not usually a sign of a PSU going past its limits as that will do a complete power off and with most PSUs will not allow you to power up again until you disconnect it from the mains for a few minutes to reset.
Sounding like other hardware at fault, time to test SSDS and memory and make sure on latest BIOS and firmware for the ssds as good old windows updates keep breaking things too and in some cases requires a motherboard latest BIOS and ssds on latest firmware.
