My turn for a linux thread

I did it all manually - maybe the next time I submit a WU I'll terminate it from downloading a new one and do the script install instead. But I guess, if it ain't broke... :p

I did it all manually too - apart from not running as a sevice (which suits me just fine anyway) all is good :)

If anyone wants the installService and uninstallService scripts I can email them to you.

All you'll need to do to them is edit "Fpath=" to point to your folding folder.

What was wrong? If Joey's wee guide works I'll add it to the FAH sticky.
the service install bit didn't work.
just had to run the client manualy.

You used to need to use sudo installService but with recent versions of the script it does it for you. They added it because Ubuntu/Debian is now so popular.
So, mine is right? :)

Can't hurt to add it.

Yeah seems good to me. :)

I have just downloaded and run that script install and it only appears to have created one CPU folder (CPU1) - I would have thought that it would have 2? Or does the SMP use both cores as one processor?

Have you restarted since running the service installer? Is it possible that the service installer worked and you haven't yet started the service?
yes I restarted, yes it auto started. I thought the service install would auto start it without reboot. but it needed one.
