My turn for a new car thread

Oh noes :(

Just noticed something:

:D

yeah im that bored at work :o

Dammit, I've been found out :(;)

I was tempted to go for a second hand Clio for £12K, but thought this was the better option!

Are you going to remap it? :)

Not yet.
Going from 115 bhp to over 300 is a novelty in itself at the moment so I'm just going to enjoy it for what it is for the time being.

If and when I start to want something more then a remap may be on the cards though ;)

That's a big jump from a 1.8 Focus to a 335i. It's a great car and one you'll enjoy for many years to come.
The wood isn't my cup of tea but as long as you like it nobody shouldn't be fussed!

Enjoy.

Oh very nice, excellent choice, I like that a lot, good choice of colour and I actually really like the interior colour and the wood.

Well, you are a Jaguar driver so that's expected ;)

I'd kind of made my mind up about getting one with the black and silver trim because that's what I thought looked the best on the photos I'd seen before I first started looking at them.
I'd been to have a look at a couple of cars before this one, both with black leather and silver trim.

I only went to have a look at this one because it was close (as in 1 mile away!) and the cream leather and walnut really grew on me seeing it in the flesh.

Now that I have a half decent car I'll have to see if I can make it to one of the motors meets and try and convince some of the naysayers that this colour combination isn't the work of the devil!!

My first choice colour scheme would be, the darker blue, with light poplar wood with the same cream leather you have, only I would prefer to split the creamness up a bit by having the leather in the centre of the doors, around the speakers in black and the speaker grills in black, with a chrome surround.

he has only had it 5 mins, whats with all the remap!?!? Isn't over 300bhp enough these days? :p

Lovely car, but I would have to see about replacing the wood interior :)

What's with all the wood hate going on around here ? ...it's nice, better than cold slabs of alluminium or carbon fibre, which only really looks right in a handfull of cars.
