Hi all back again after you all helped me get my daughters first build last Xmas, she had a great time building it herself with a little instruction from me and loving it, she now studying HNC computing but now it's my turn for an upgrade

Have a budget of £1200-1600
Will be using it for some gaming like World of tanks and World of warships type games but looking to start playing more AAA games, will also be doing some photo editing, nothing heavy.

Will be reusing
Corsair 570x case
H150i elite capellix 360mm aio
2x 2tb ssd
Currently have a 1080 and a 4k monitor which I can upgrade at a later time, just need to beat this ram madness first

Any suggestions appreciated just after best bang for buck especially the ram lol

Definitely don't be wedded to C30, or even 6000. It does help, but you're unlikely to notice 5600, or even 5200 if you're playing at 4K. Obviously if 6000 C36 was £350 and 5200 was £340, you wouldn't bother, but if the saving is large (like £100+) I'd take the slower memory every time. If you're not getting a X3D CPU then the calculations can change, because the RAM makes a bigger difference if you got say.. a 9700X.

Lol see this is why I'm asking you gurus as I've not got a clue about ram speeds, I've got my budget and when I seen that ram prices shot up I thought best get this done now before it gets worse lol

at ocuk, 5600mhz ram and 6000mhz are at price parity, so there's no reason to get slower ram
