My warzone is choppy as hell!

The only thing I have turned down graphically is "Shadows" which is on Medium. Everything else is maxed out

I quite like the shadows but the RTX setting kills it for me and looks no differnet. I'm sure I read RTX had no setting changes in multiplayer yet but that was months ago. I tried and it it just seems to remove shadows whilst dropped fps by about 40 :D

I was running in a old i5 setup and couldn't run the damn game.
Now on a new Ryzen 5 setup with 16gb ram game on ssd and rx590 and the game runs smooth. Everything maxed out and get 90+ fps all the time.

I have an I7 2600K @ 4.5GHZ = Working great!
I have an I7 4970K @ 4.7GHZ = Working great!

Not sure why people keep blaming his CPU, try overclocking it to 4.5GHZ as a tester then

I didn't blame the CPU or the RAM. I just stated what parts I changed for any stutteriness to go away. In my case new CPU and RAM and Motherboard made the difference. I was still loading the game from a HDD post upgrade. However I was and still am using Windows 10.

Glad to hear your two CPUs are working great!!!

Upgrade to Windows 10. 7 is horribly outdated at this point and it can't hurt to be more in line with todays tech. Plus, that 970 is a relic as well. Time for an upgrade!

This. OP, what version of Win 7 do you have. If you have Pro you can upgrade to Win 10 pro for free

I was using a 660 GTX prior to the 980 GTX and although it ran at an amazingly fast 40fps-60fps :D It was still smooth enough to play and win a few rounds

Graphical settings do not have any effect on servers or tickrates
That would be like saying my monitor resolution is causing my ping to go up :D

It's been fine for me on multiplater with ping around 30ms. Granted Warzone lobbies get a bit laggy but this wouldn't suddenly become much less laggy if graphics settings were reduced
i wasnt saying it has an effect on the server was mentioning that as a separate thing where servers tickrates and lag can be mistaken for user side issues

like last night was in a game said I had my usual 60 fps but it felt 15 fps thats the server I was on

Are right, I see. Yes, if the game is choppy it could be misinterpreted as the servers lagging. Microstutter and the game having low fps feels a lot different to high pings and 'rubber banding' on loaded servers - some may not know the difference though

yea the ping can be decent your frames are decent but it can still feel like 1000 ping and 20 fps pretty sure thats just the server
