Eveing all,

Well Sunday I went to the flea market with Tammy, (my GF), and I found a lekker watch. Very nice and the lady even removed some links off it for me so it would fit better. :)

Really happy with it, bar one thing. The hands don't glow in the dark. :(.

If I hold the watch to the light bulb for a few seconds, it will glow for about 10 minutes and not anymore. It's not a big problem, just would like it to glow...

Any thing I can do? hold it there for longer?

You want it to glow for longer than 10 minutes? Or have I read that wrong...

Well, I'd like it to glow all the time. So when it gets night, I can at least see the time....?

Turn the light on you lazy git :p

Yeah, take it to a watch's specialist and they'll do it. Won't cost much I reckon.

No, because then I'd need to get out of bed, walk to the end of the room and turn the light on. Too much energy at 3pm in the morning and would get cold. :(

its a perfect reason to buy a new fancy torch :D

or a bedside light.

Or a weird bubbly clock thing that shows the time and temp on the ceiling when you press the button like the g/fs got!

Didn't know they made 'em with those sort of buttons ... :p

Damn! beaten to it.

You need tritium coated hands, they glow in the dark due to radioactive decay and have to be replaced every few years or so.

I wouldn't feel comfortable with half a nuclear bomb on my wrist :p

Lol.

Thanks guys, will pop into the shop tomorrow and see what they say. Will have to leave it on a light for tonight.....

So you are wanting a watch, from a flea market, to be able to store, then emit an infinite amount of energy something the worlds foremost scientists haven't solved yet?

Maybe try Smithfield Market on a Sunday ;) :D
