Needs more work but getting it done bit by bit

O yer and a Koolance HX -240XC copper rad hanging out of my window as i reckon sucking colder air over it beats Ambient anyday :)

excuse the red pipe on the cpu , ocuk had run out of clear this week :(

Has anybody ever turned their case upside down? haha i only ask as i cant access the front of mine and the wires look nasty hanging out the back, we need a case were the open side is on the other side to normal? I mean who looks at the front of there case these days, its the window that needs to be at the front yeh?

So next phase is either turn the case upside down so the front is on the left or do something more drastic and chop the front off and turn it 90o so i can see the side and the front at same time, hmmmm weres my hacksaw ( no dremel yet)

BTW the red lcd has been replaced and is now reading 36oC and not what looked like 46 , so water going into my "out of the window" res is 40oC and its 36oC in the res

I guess it all comes down to taste really. I like a more "clasic" orientation but I do appreciate the work put into a nice reverse ATX, especially with nice watercooled graphics cards.

It's actually better for temps as well because it allows the GPU heat to escape easier rather than heating the CPU up.

Nice build what temps are u getting on your cpu and 780s?

ok according to Core temp cpu is running @70c @4.4mhz and water loop temp is 34.8c, ambient in room 26.7c and outside its 21c
this is fully loaded 100% on both gpu and cpu
This will cool down more overnight , ill post temps when i get home at 3AM
Let me run heaven to get real world gpu temps, 1 always runs 2o hotter then the other

edit: well its 2.30 am and same load but water temp down to 31c ambient in room 25c and outside 14c so my idea of putting rad in window is working it seems

Its interesting to see the temps of those hybrid cooled graphics cards over a full waterblock. I have 2 780's in my build but i have the XSPC block on both and the difference in temps is dramatic. That could be down to you only having the 1 rad to cool CPU + Motherboard + 2 780's! Do you plan on adding more rads to the build?

You think my temps are high?

Next step is dunk rad in a container of water with a cold water tap supply in and out and see how that goes :) cant wait to test it . Quietness is the plan
I probably will get a separate loop for the gpu`s when funds allow and i get the buzzing pump i got rma`d back and have 2 , also going to reverse atx the case and sort the water pipes, never ending ideas lol

I got no Folding@home wu`s atm, turned climateprediction off and water temps are 25oC @Idle

It is kind of hard comparing your GPU temps with others, you can't compare them to mine as i have x2 240 and a 480 rad in my build, my GPU's max out under load at about 35-40 degrees.

The reason i asked because i would be interested how that hyper cooler compared to a full waterblock?

Do the hyper coolers on those cards have fans? if so do they spin up at all? I ask because if your aiming for a quiet rig a full waterblock would give you even more silence!
