A bit of a major change around, now in reverse atx with a new pump/res now much quieter..

I had some fun playing with it in the kitchen as well !! will post a video showing the results later :D

Next plans are to move the bays out from the front and make room for a 480 rad and fans... maybe , might just take it all out and sort the case properly first if time allows

Hope to change it to 2 loops as well soon, different colors maybe? or go acrylic? hmmm

woops that was spose to be an edit not a quote lol

Ok Major changes.. maybe i should start a new log ..but its all the same parts as before so here goes,

DAY1 basic idea get it on the wall and work out the best layout and what else i can do with all that space i got..

Any ideas guys?

the front.. a blank canvas

the back. yes i can swing it round and get to the back as its got a hinge :)

And whats to be done .. needs holes cut to hide the cables and redo the loop etc etc. i was eager to get it back up and running

The rad is still in the window blowing the hot air outside so the only noise its making running at full tilt is the gentle hum of the pump/res

I used my HAF X as a doner for the parts btw.

I really like wall mounted PCs but they're quite hard to achieve.
are you going to paint that bit of plywood at all? (I hope so)
also I really like what some people have done with some pcie raisers for their GPUs. it looks better and takes up more space on the wall

Yes of course i will cover the wood :) , at the end when ive finished making holes , nice bit of vinyl i expect

And yes im thinking about mounting the gpu`s but its not easy mounting them in sli, unless u can buy longer cables? i do have a lot of space to fill but theres room for another pc on there! but that would be many months away

Im saving up for more parts now, i fancy a chiller to get the temps down to about ambient so no risk of condensation , will probally go in the loft which is only 2ft above the pc, the pump should handle that or ill just add a more powerful pump in the loop, need a way to control the temps remote tho as it will be a pain keep going up there lol, i have an idea , will see if it works when i get it

I need a theme tho, as this is just slung up there (so i could have a working pc) thinking maybe just keep it all red/black/chrome or what ?
Lots of lights etc needed also , bling baby

Really nice build, how far are you with the current build, are you finish with the wood work, also how many hours has it taken you to complete this project, or going to take? Look forward to seeing the finish project.

Half way done, lots to do and parts to add as i go, the wood will be covered last as im still making holes and can cover up any mistakes at the end lol , a few more months i think before its done but its a working pc so theres no rush.

now got my 780s installed as well as TX

1 thing is wierd, im getting a lot of air in the outlet from the cpu block, dont seem a problem, the air goes into the rad after a while in a big bubble and more return, the coolent level in 1 of the pumps goes UP as the rad fills with air but after a tilt and shake of it the big air bubble comes out and into the pump/res and the level goes down again, NO leakage anywere, just air after the cpu, v strange

I don't get this build. Why is it stuck against the wall on a bit of board? It just looks a strange mess with the risk that it'll fall off at some point and smash? There's just no aesthetic value to it whatsoever.

Its well attached to the wall lol, nearly 5 grand hanging on there , dont want it falling, if u look at older posts your see im able to get the cables etc behind, the idea is to cover the wood when im done and finished making holes, the rads are hanging out of my window, blowing cold air from outside over them, get a lot colder this way thats why its on the wall, good airflow as well as not many fans needed, its as my title says, and along way till done
