My x1900's a tad bent

Got it a while ago and installed it, running fine so far just sems to be bent quite a bit at the top the card. I remember xfx putting metal braces onto their cards to stop them bending so i assume it can potentially be damaging in some way to the card. Anything to be concerned about?

Gonna take it out to take a look at i and see if its the card or the actual screw hole positioning.

Well just took it out, its the card thats bent and nothing to do with the screw holes.

Not really sure what to think of this, ive read that cards bending like this puts more stress on the components on the card, dunno if ocuk would swap it ou for a new one or something.

Funy thing is i done a google for "bent x1900" and quite a few people have the same powercolour card as me and have the same problem with it being warped near the top end of the card. Kind of odd.

I can verify that nearly all the X1900 cards have this bend, we build systems with ATI, TUL, Sapphire and Connect3D cards that are all bent in a similar fashion, yet they all function fine.

Just gets a bit worrying spending £300+ on something to see it be a bit wonky looking

And as far as noise goes to those wondering, ive yet to hear the fan even attempt to spin up after a half hour of quake 4 @ 1680x1050. In fact i noticed my x800xt getting faster and louder more than this.

Id have thought a half hour of quake 4 at high res and settings would have pushed it hard enough to get the fan revving up, so far its still quiet.
