Motors Meets are the perfect illustration of why nothing said on a forum should be taken to heart. There are numerous people here whose posts, shall we say, annoy me. I've subsequently met many of them at meets and found them to be nothing but thoroughly decent people :)
 
Fantastic video.. it's so lame it's hilarious. Kudos for doing it.. love to know what drove you to it or was it just to give all your mates a giggle. Also top choice of motor!! :)

opps, well I considered that but sarcasm often gets lost in hard text and I didnt see any :p so figured you were serious. 20mpg around town could be hard to justify but the savings on the car itself make it worth it really plus theres always lpg to consider if this is a long term purchase
 
What drove me to do it?

I been watching some of the carp on youtube and figured - why not give it a go! Figured my jaguar theme would apeal to some :)

Giving my mates a laugh is pretty much it. They all have the link :)

Well guys, I'm a regular reader but rare poster but would like to thank you all for the views and comments. Perhaps if someone remembers this thread when the next motor meet is organised they could send me a PM incase i miss it, i would like to come fit in.

My mate was in Iraq for 6 months with the army so managed to save quite a bit of money. When he came back he bought an XJ6, and now he can't afford to run it :D
 
You need to stop doing that silly thing with your mouth where you kinda crimp your lips together.

The lighting wasn't very flattering either, try placing two lights either side of your face, perhaps with tracing paper covering them to soften the light.

You also might wanna consider re-filming when you've look like you've not taken a trip down a wind tunnel?

Other than that, it was...interesting.
