My Z-5500 decided to stop working...

Not making sense. I turned it off last night now it doesnt turn on. :confused:

Any fixes? I checked the wires.

It seems dead to me. No red light on the contoller thing.

Might try that. I dont think thats the problem. If i have to return these i might have issues sending it due to box size... Or even if i have the box still.

this happened to me not long ago, couldnt find anything wrong with it. All wires, connections, fuses etc were fine.
had to send it back to the supplier for a replacement

the fuse inside is 5A. the plug says 13A. i noticed sparks tho when i moved the pc style plug.

Did you have original box to send back to supplier? I have had my z5500 since February this year. Dont think i have the box still. Did they arrange for it to be collected or something? I dont think i can carry it to my postoffice.

nope, they just sent me a new set.
so i was left with 2 sets of Z5500's :cool:

it was the amp which had gone in the end

Fuse is working fine. Used a tester to check. Definately something worng inside the set.

Do i contact logitech or the website i ordered it from? The manual says 2 year warranty.

edit: I'll ring logitech and see what procedure they have. Thanks guys.

Sounds like the fuse in the subwoofer has blown, happened to my z-680s once. Logitech will send you a free replacement.
