Mythos online

I played through the closed/open beta. Ill be playing it when it’s released on the 28th. Not the best game ever but it free and it'll keep me interested for quite a while. Of course you get the moaners and whiners but it’s free and fun. Plenty to do with crafting and it’s driven by quests.
I played up to about level 18 but then stopped because I didn’t want to go too far into the game, it’s not one that I would go back and build lots of toons to experiment with, but then again ive rarely done that with any mmo or RPG.

For people who like this and want something with more polish id recommend Runes of Magic.


There seem to be a lot of grammatical errors in the game, errors like the quote below:
(Bad punctuation and spelling mistakes)

Mythos? Was that the mmo supposed to be developed by the same team for Hellgate: London? It had a mention in PCZone about 2-3 years ago...

yip. ive tried this version and tbh, i prefered the original. it just seemed better in every respect, more of a finished product than the current incarnation.
 
it is far from finished, but as been said its fun...

also runes of magic is good,if you can afford to play it or have really nice friends to get you decent gear. other than that its great.

enjoy the game guys.

Enjoyed it till i got bored (as with all mmo's), never had to buy anything for cash. I played it when it was first released, stopped and then restarted a year later (got bored again very quickly), so maybe things have changed? Or is it just 'hardcore' people that need to pay?
 
The grinding is actually putting me off, which is a bad thing considering it's a HnS game where the grinding is meant to be part of the fun. People on the forums stating it takes forever to get one level since they adjusted the XP curves when you're past about level 20.

it's very diffrent now and to do anything you need epic gear.

depends what class...but yea its slow-ish i still find it fun
