N00b seeking advice

Well it was around the £700 mark after those bits were fitted, was that a good price?

thats pretty good, but having a PSU from a rubbish manufacturer is a big no no around here, never skimp on the PSU, its the heart of the PC and you dont want to be trusting a £700 setup with a £20 jobbie.

What manufacturers do you suggest, alternatively what about that pc but getting in my own updated PSU? or is that just silly?

the only PSU makers worth looking at are,

Antec
bequiet
Coolermaster
Corsair
Enermax
OCZ
Seasonic
XFX

Buying the PC and fitting your own PSU is an option.

Hmm just says X power, think I'll give it a miss than, came to £734 in total. Or is there the possibility of changing PSU with that deal? In a sense it's all built up with everything I need!

I dont know, and we are not allowed to discuss competitors.
