hi hi, i'm a n00b, i'm here to learn about overclocking and such guff, here's my system specs

asrock conroe 945G mobo (got a gigabyte ds3 but it's still in it's box)
core 2 duo e6300 (but i'd like an e6600)
512mb corsair ddr2 667 (i really need more)
250gb sata, 250gb ide, 160gb ide, 40gb ide. (they'd be good if they were all the one drive!)

so i know i can't overclock until i get more ram, a better cooler than stock (intel's own) and a decent gfx card, i'm holding out as long as i can for the new ATI cards with DX10 support (to bring the prices of the 8800s down) but it's such a long wait lol

It's saracastic reply's like those that make it difficult for new members to get over the first hurdle of being afraid. Because of you, we're stuck with the likes of Gilly and Yewen! :p
 
o...k... so what IS the right forum? i looked for this one instead of posting in the first one i saw (general hardware) and the sig? is it measured in bytes or inches? :D
