N40L Server Power Management Software

Hi, I've just purchased HP N40L to use as a storage server for TV Programs, Music Etc. Can anyone recommend a good power management software which will allow me to set Power On/Off times and Power Off on idle web-based interface would be a plus.

You could buy WHS 2011 and run "Lights Out" which detects if your PC's are on and starts the server then. It also starts the server and machines up at the preset backup times.

Sound's good my only issue would be the limit of ten users.

How many PC's are you thinking about?

But you can install Lights Out client on as many PCs as you want. (I think)

I was thinking more about he WHS limit of 10 Users. I have several media devices and computers etc which would take me over the limit. I'm wondering if I could give the Media Devices all the same login.

OK the WDTV's will not count as a client. You can set them up as ip clients on Lights Out.
