N73 keeps freezing and mentions disk error.

My phone has frozen 12 times today. I have to remove the battery to turn it off. Then when I turn it back on I can faintly see the clock on the black screen (some burn in on the screen?) and then the nokia sign then it doesn't do the hand thing sticks on Nokia and I have to repeat the process. I took my memory card out which is a high quality made in japan card and it turned on ok but I'm still having problems. I paid £100 for this upgrade with O2 about 36 days ago.

Am I covered? Are N73s unreliable like this?

I've tried the Nokia update. It said my phone was up to date but I've read about firmware versions more recent than the one on my phone. Will give O2 a call on monday.
