N80 charging issues

For a week or two now I've been having trouble connecting the charger to my Nokia N80. It takes a couple of goes to get the charger connected and it feels like if you force it, something is going to break.

Eventually it goes in and charges fine (although if you own an N80 you'll know a full charge lasts about 5mins), however this morning when I've come to charge, it won't go in at all, and I can't work out if it's the charger or the phone with the problem.

I can see the pin/connector if I look in the socket on the phone, and the end of the charger doesn't look to be bent or out of shape but it just won't accept it.

Anyone else had any trouble with this or other N series phones?

Update:

Popped into the Orange shop in town and tried one of their N series chargers which doesn't fit either, meaning it's the phone itself.

Spoke to Orange Care who're sending me a new phone between 9 and 1 tomorrow, which if you ask me if pretty bang on service.

There's a £15 charge for this but the alternative is to take up the warrantly with Nokia themselves which could take weeks.

Mods: you can close this thread if you wish.

It was actually the phone that developed the fault though, the pin that the charger connects to inside the phone was broken.

Having said that though the connector on the N series charger is very thin and frail looking.
