N82 software version 20.0.062/20.1.062 released

How easy is it to update? I'm on O2 - don't fancy ruining the firmware trying this :)
 
This is yet another reason why i should go to SE! Had this same problem with my N73. I havent updated my phone (had for a month or so) and it claims i have the most updated version, unlikely as it came out today. Says i have 10.0.046, under it claims that is the lastes version!

EDIT - Seriousily Nokia! Just seen there is 11.0.117, so there has been a update before this new one? Yet mine is on an older version and claims it is up to date, am i missing smoething?

o2 haven't approved any of the updates I'm afraid after checking again. :(
If more people contact o2 support and moan about it they will change thier ways one day. Maybe ;/

This is the 2nd update yep, some providers just can not be asked or are very slow in approving them.
Not really Nokia's fault.

I changed the product code of mine from o2 to a euro 1 product code for that exact reason.

you're missing something, Nokia release a generic firmware then network operators customise and release their versions.

If you have a voda branded phone, and run the software looking for an update - it will see the unbranded firmware and then discard it as the region coding won't match your phone.

so don't flap your trap about it being Nokias fault..
