N95 Problem

Just got my n95 yesterday and after waiting a day for T mobile to activate my Sim i seem to be having problems already. The phone was working fine yesterday, i couldnt do anything that needed the sim but it was actually working. Now that tmobile sent me the settings and the phone sim was activated the phone now keeps resetting itself. It sits on the main screen and then just turns its self on and off every 30 seconds or so.

Has anyone else had this problem?

I had this problem with my 1st N95, it reset itself at least times before staying on and displayed a message saying 'update complete' or similar. No idea what the update was about but it then worked.

I asked t-mobile and they didn't know what the update was and so replaced the phone, even though it was then working ok.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yea T-Mobile had no idea why it was doing this, but it said something about an update and now its fine, i have reported the handset as faulty so they are sending a new one out on tuesday, told em to cancel it (10 mins after) and they said they cant now, all they told me to do is when it gets to the post office depot to get picked up i just dont pick it up  well its what they told me to do :D .

Now that its working its a fantastic phone, so many features to explore!

lol I had the same thing with them, called them to cancel the replacement after a few mins and they said they can't! Nevermind, you may as well take the replacement handset just in case there is a problem with it.

My replacement came with a courier (Parceline maybe - not sure though!) and not royal mail so it probably won't be left at a post office or royal mail depot if you're not around to take delivery.

Pha!! why cant things just be easy and work for me. I might aswell take the new handset, not exactley got much saved on the phone as i wont have the memory card until tomorrow, will have to remember to ring insurers to change the handsets IMEI number, got a text saying if i dont do that my insurance will be void :(
