At the mo i think its 2gb but ive heard rumours that theres a 4gb?? card thats coming out later this month that should be compatible with the n95. For the record im using a 2gb sandisk card with mine and works like a dream.

Great thanks , i got my N95 today , its a great bit of kit , only reason i want a 4GB card is i listen to music , not sure if i will even use the GPS

Can download them for free over wifi before you need them, so there's no need to get them on the fly. You'll have to browse around though as I'm only basing that on hearsay. Haven't tried using them on mine yet

YEs I can confirm the Sandisk 4GB MicroSDHC Card works in the N95 got mine delivery yesterday from Moby Memory for £51.99. I now have all my usual stuff plus TT6 running on the N95 and it works a treat

Can you load these maps to the N95 and just use them to view your position on a moving map ,without turn guidance and without being connected to the web ? ie just in a passive way.

Yes you can but it gets very confusing or at least it does whilst driving.

This is because the map view doesn't follow your direction and give you a view of what is in front of you as such like a chase view so to speak. The view you get can be coming from any direction so you'll look at the phone and you'll be at one point in time going from bottom of the screen to the top next minute left to right then maybe bottom to top etc.

Thats fine then. I don't want to use it whilst driving. I do a lot of travelling by air and I thought I could use it in flight mode with a larger scale European map to shown present postition, speed, etc etc

Tomtom works properly on the n95 now?

4GB Sandisk does work, and it can be bought for around £40 if you look hard enough

Yes but only with an external GPS Receiver.
