Nacon controller problem

Bought my son a new GC-400ES controller for his PC. We installed the driver utility software but when you launch it, it waits a few seconds and nothing happens.
Tested the pad on my machine, installed the software and it launches fine. This has driven me mad. Both similar machines, both running Windows 10. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times but still no joy.

Anyone had a similar problem?

Well...I know I'm answering years after...but I was looking for the same answer...It works for me in my desktop computer, but not in the laptop...it waits a few seconds...and nothing happens...

No Sorry, I ended up getting a refund from them I'm afraid. Sorry I couldn't help.
