been there, done that... had the tetanus shot, if you can rest it shouldn't hurt much after two weeks but you get used to it as with any constant pain.
 
Caught one this morning with my hand, only went 1/2" in.

Regular squirts of savlon antiseptic spray and Ibuprofen will sort you out.

Check your Tetanus jabs are up to date.
 
OUCH my neibour did that in his garadge with nails on the floor and then he went back 5mins later to clear up and trod on another one. O.o
 
I remember standing on one when I was a kid and it went through my foot and out the top through my shoe laces! I don't remember it hurting that much. I just remember mum dragging me to hospital encase I needed a tetnus jab, thankfully I didn't. It healed up after a few weeks

Just keep it disinfected with savlon, TCP or Iodine (in order of pain when applied :p ).
