I would say that if you like Formula 1 and like racing games then F1 for PS3 is pretty good IMO.

I am really enjoying skate. at the moment. Both fifa 2008 and Pro Evo leave a lot to be desired. Neither feel right at all.

Cod 4 was great but short, just waiting for my uber cheap copy of rainbow six vegas to arrive.

Oblivion. I am so hooked on this game that I'm even dreaming about it at night. A list of things I need to do in the next gameplay session keep going round in my head. Very addictive. "Just one more quest" and before you know it, it's 2am in the morning. Whoops.

Think im gonna see if the shop will swap Assassins Creed for Burnout. I can get Assassins Creed for £30 new so that would be the best if I can get it swapped.

I have a major hate for lighting bloom, and the 360 seems to think that using random bright lights and brurring effects to hide jaggy edges is acceptable in R6V, the PS3 doesnt look as good due to showing its jaggies, but your not looking at random bright bloom effects constantly, making for a sharper image.

All my opinion of course.

I felt the same, it was the first game where I thought it topped the 360 version (although as you say, 360 had less jaggies). Can't wait for Vegas 2, more of the same would be fantastic.

assassins creed

Uncharted

So far im very impressed, running 1080i, set the audio up through my Av reciever via SPDIF sounds amazing on my £1000 audio system. Assassins Creed is excellent, only at the begining now but really liking it. Now installing DMC4!!

Tried a blu-ray film and pictire is probably better than my HTPC.

Getting Burnout Friday, got a £12 credit note with the shop as i traded in Cod2 and cod4 on PC. So gonna get them to price match burnout with another shop for £34.99. Not a bad price?

Tempted to get Oblivion second hand the shop has it pre-owned for £25 and I can then get a pre-owned copy of R:FOM for £12.50.

Just need to setup this PSN thing at some point tonight.

First impressions are excellent. Also need to setup Tversity during the week.

Glad you're enjoying it, get yourself a PSN account and sign up to the PSN ID thread on here. There is some great PSN games on the store, Super Stardust HD, Pixel Junk Monsters and Tekken 5 Online are all must haves IMO. Also set up a US PSN account as they have a few more demos than the UK store, they also have more games which you will most likely need to set up an entropay account ( see PS3 FAQs) to buy them.
