Yeah i'd say there emo, if you want better emo, check out early glassjaw stuff. It's hardcore emo! Good music though.

TBS - Yes.
Jimmy Eat World - Their early stuff, like Clarity and Static prevails, yes. Their later stuff: Bleed American/Self-Titled and Futures, no.

IMO of course ;)

If your talking emo as in black hair and stuff like MCR then get a better taste in music

If your talking good emo then stuff like At the Drive In, Thursday, InMe, Goo Goo Dolls.

Guess emo is the new word to use if you wanna sound cool >.<

Either that or people have some very weird definitions of emo

You've given us a very tall order.

Bands:
Dashboard confessional if you want to go all out gay.
Fugazi for an original band. Don't like them much though, although I really don't like much emo at all.

One good song I've heard is "I will follow you into the Dark" by Death Cab for Cutie.

**** off.

Don't mix at the drive in with emo

;)

But you make a good point, listen to At the Drive-In, not "good emo".

They have no genre, and they don't sing about their unhappiness with girls or their insecurities :o

Nothing there at all. Seriously. None of the is emo.

Going by defination, check out anything by Sunny Day Real Estate, Far and Rites of Spring.

Nor does emo music.

This is why I hate the NME and Kerrang! and about every major music publication. They perpetuate the mislabelling of bands.

At the Drive-In are post-hardcore, practically.
