My GF is a qualified physio and when she left uni there were something like 500 aplicants for each job... She gave up after a year and is now working in Thomas Cooks Legal dept!
So NHS is not really a good idea, unless things have changed.
Aparently only the top 2/3 people in each class have much change of getting an NHS job!
