Name needed for gf's shop

Milkshakes might be popular at the moment, but long term you need to consider that you can quickly swap to the next "fad" business.

shakes, why did it have to be shakes.

Well played, sir, very well played.

Hey, can I double vote for Dairy Works?

Shake Break Bounce, the jingle's already done:

Or The Milk Sheik, with a pleasingly stereotypically offensive character for your advertising. Maybe in store you could call every customer an imperialist pig.

Out of the five i would say The Dairy Works, but with the Yard coming in a close second. The Dairy Works sounds like a good brand so potential for expansion in there although depends on how long the milkshake fad lasts really. Although this thread does make me want a milkshake.

20 unique flavours? Is that it?

There is a milkshake shop here that has over 100! Yes they are various chocolate bars etc as well as lots of other things and its always rammed, I don't think 20 offers enough for people to keep coming back.

Oh the name of the milkshake place is moo moo's. They also have a reward card stamp idea, might be worth considering.

We'd love to be able to start out with 100, but I think it's better to perfect a few, then expand the range after. It's easy to do once we have the money coming in, but along with buying a Kiosk the start-up costs will be high, so we need to cut costs where we're able, and getting all the ingredients for 100 different shakes will cost quite a lot of money. I can always suggest getting some more added on, just in case, but we're trying to avoid blending chocolate bars into them and making proper flavours for them.

We've already considered a reward card idea too, that will be something we look into after opening. :p

I agree with that strategy. It has also been shown in research that people generally can be too overwhelmed with too many choices. For a small kiosk style operation I think 20 or so is about right. It might be good to have 5 or so flavours that revolve over time. So you could have 100 flavours in total, 20 standard Shakes and 5 or so out of the remaining 80 or whatever that are available at any one time. You can then react to customer feedback and demand for certain flavours.
