Thread title is the name of the game. Basically you just post a picture from either Google Earth or Windows Live Local (with no labels of course) and other poeple have to work out where it is. Many hours of fun to be had!
Please be imaginative, but but don't choose somewhere too vague such as the Sahara Desert.

I'll start us off...

At first I thought it was the Thames but you'd spun the axis somehow. Then thought maybe it was the Seine but the wiggles towards the top are too tight for that.

Hmmm.
 
Well, I'm lost. I can't place the airport location with a major river :/

I'm guessing with the road geometries and the population density that its a US city. The US has never interested me and I'd be hard pushed to name several cities, never mind name a particular one from an image :)
 
Ok you're WAY off with the american city guess. But there are quite a lot of Americans in this city right now...
Theres also a sort of landmark near the middle of the pic, but its really small. At least i think its a landmark!

I just guessed coz he said there are a lot of Americans there at the moment and its not green enough for England and that river looked familiar.
