I am looking for the name of a song. I recently heard the song last night but can't remember the name of it.

The song appeared in a game called 'GTA London' and it has also appeared on an advert on television... I would try and sing part of the song out in words but I would get laughed at....

Quite an old song as well... Sorry that there isnt much info there!
 
So, um, you want us to guess the song that you heard last night?

Any more information - like what style of music it was, what some of the lyrics are... anything at all?
 
I'll have a stab at 'Self Preservation Society' based on the clues there, but it could be a long shot.
 
good call. Blatently its that!


The melody is basically a guy whistling, and then singing "this is the self preservation society" - from The Italian Job, (Michael Caine) and since Caine is very british, (to the americans anyway) that song is associated with him and london, hence being in the game.

Or, Belmit's wrong and I look proper silly :p

How about a clue? Is it a guy or a woman singing? Is it dancy or rock or classical or opera? Is it a fast or slow song? Is it one you've heard before? If so, was it a big song?

Are you going to at least give us a little bit to work with?
 
Hey guys I started humming a tune today, can't remember how it went though, or if I've ever heard it before.

Can anyone help me out with what it is?

Seriously though, can you at least make a random noise into a mic which slightly resembles the tune?

GTA London, not the latest games. I don't recall London ever having a soundtrack out.
