Naming a hard drive..

My main HDD is called 'Irish Tom' because that's my nickname (not that I'm Irish).

My Bootcamp partition is called .windows so it doesn't clutter my nice neat OSX desktop with it's windows filth. :p

My External disk for Time Machine is called Time Machine.

I've bucked the trend and my primary hard drive is called  instead of Mackintosh HD.
Second drive is called "Home" because it's got my home directory on it, the third one is called "Media" because it has my ever increasing iTunes library on it and the last one is called "Time Machine". I wonder if anyone can work out why? ;)

Name them after the planets. That's what I used to do when I rented out dedicated servers.

A more interesting thread would be "What do you call your porn folder?"

As in 'at the beaver'.

I thank you :D

Mine are currently:

Mac Pro HDD
Raptor HDD
Video HDD
Media HDD
Time Machine HDD

The most creative use of harddrive names I've seen is from a company called 'Machine' Whenever they send over work on a harddrive, it's always got a different name, such as:

Love Machine
Sex Machine
Time Machine
Huge Machine

Internal SATA Drives I have are:

'Mac Pro' - WD6000AAKS
'Scratch' - WD6000AAKS
'Data' - 2x WD1000FYPS - RAID 1
'Backup' - WD1000FYPS - TM Backup of 'Data'

I won't bother listing my NAS drives...

Seeing as this has been revived..

HDD 1 - Macintosh HD
HDD 2 - Windows HD

So original, Wethers are trying to sue me ;)
