Narrow AV stand?

Hey guys,

I've got a friend looking for an AV stand that will fit in a space that is only 460mm wide (between the skirting boards) and 520 above the skirts. It needs a few shelves for the amp, blueray player etc.

Any suggestions? I'm struggling to find anything reasonably priced, and am considering telling him to rip off the skirting!

I've tried to find this one I use on the Argos website but I can't find it. It was £49.99 I think.

I don't know the measurements as I haven't got a tape measure to hand but I might do the trick.

diy? so easy to make this sort of thing. B&Q will even cut the wood to the required lengths for free if you need it.

Thanks, DIY isn't really an option when he wants black glass and metal frame. I think the dimensions may just be too small for a rack in there. So will have to consider other options.

He could easily get the glass shelves made to fit and without the pointless metal supports he will have a cleaner finish and more space for kit.

Don't remove the skirting board, the mess they usually hide isn't worth it plus it will look gash and chavy.
