NAS - £47 or £175 ?

D-Link DNS-320 ShareCenter or ASUSTOR AS-202T, what do I get for the extra £128 ?? I need a 2 disk NAS that supports hot swap and RAID 1.

The Asustor uses a much faster and more capable CPU, as well as having more RAM. The Asustor can run a variety of "apps" that make it more of a computer/server than a NAS.

Also look at the Synology DS214se, sits somewhere in the middle of the two you've mentioned in terms of price. Had mine a year today and it's been great.

How does it cope with hot swap, seems to suggest you have to have a prepared disk on standby.

Why do you want hot swap?

You know that most nas drives will format your drive as a file system that windows cannot read when directly connected to your pc..?

If just get the Synology that fits your needs. They are great systems.
