NAS Drive

I'm thinking about getting the Icy Box IB-NAS4220-B Hard Drive Enclosure and 2 x Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB drives to go in and run them in mirror.

The thing is I cannot afford to buy both drives at the same time as wel as the enclosure and I was wondering if I just bought one drive and the enclosure and copied all my data onto that one could I just add the second one in after next pay day and would it just duplicate all the data on the first drive without having to reformat it?

I know that creating a mirror RAID set can be done by adding a second drive to an existing one on supported motherboards and the data is automatically copied when you set the array up.
Not sure if you can do the same with the Icy Box - anyone else tried this?

Ive just been reading that apparently there may be some issues with samsung drives and the icy box, does anyone know if it will work with 2 of the samsung drives in my orig post
