Yeah you just need to get the PAT file for the version I've got from their download site and then the loader and it should be sweet.
 
It doesn’t suggest that. It seems to suggest needing to update some grub file with details of the usb drive. Whilst not overly complicated it seems hassley.

Did you not have to do that?
 
Yes, for the loader you'll need the VID/PID of the USB stick to make it work and perhaps edit the grub.cfg for the correct number of NICs and Mac address plus change the serial if you have a proper one, otherwise that's about it. If you're hardware isn't working, then you may need the additional driver files on site; my Supermicro X8DTL with 48GB Ram and 2 x LSI 9211-8i HBAs work out of the box as well as the intel NICs.
