NAS Security

I'm looking at getting a NAS and wondering if there's any software or firmware that I can get that would track it in case it gets stolen.
A bit like a tracker for a car, when they plug it into their network it sends a message back to me with the ip address it is currently using?

Open it up, stick in an old phone, permanently on/charging wired into the power supply. You can track it if/when it gets stolen. That's how I'd do it, but I'm a cheapskate

There's probably a better way.

Get a one of those safes and stick it in there and bolt it to the floor.

Where are you putting the NAS, surely somewhere secure indoors? :confused:
