Hi. i've got an old pc lying about (800mhz athlon, 512ram) and am thinking of making it a NAS using FreeNas as the OS.
How reliable are these things? I'm not talking abotu the physical side i'm talking abotu the software side. is it gonna be one of those repair the connection everytime you want to connect thigns or should it work fine all *** time?
I'm planning to have it wired to a wireless router then every computer htat needs access is wireless. (obvosuly i'm talking within the wireless range).
