NAS Solution?

Hey all,

I'm looking for some help in the best solution that I have floating in my head at the minute. I want to have some sort of NAS or storage system that can be accessed by most of the devices connected to my home network. I don't want mega amount of storage at this minute but I do want a solution that can be easily upgraded if more storage was ever needed. The systems that are in a house a mix of Windows and Macs if you needed to know that. Does anyone have any recommendations on what the best solution is or have any questions that I might be able to answer?

Will it be used just for storage/streaming etc and whats your budget? Are mobile apps important?

I would look at the Asustor 202TE that can also be used as a htpc. You could stick one drive in for now and another when you need to expand etc

Or perhaps a Synology DS213j. Though the Asustor is the best proposition at the moment due to spec/price combo being fantastic (it has an Intel Atom Dual Core CPU)
