NAS Storage with RAID-1

Hi I am looking into purchasing a NAS - RAID-1 Enabled Solution with about 2x2TB SATA storage. I was specifically interested in a WD MyBook Duo, however it doesn't have options for Quota Management, what can people suggest on here?

Something like a Synology DS212j with two appropriate drives will do the trick nicely. Quite a bit more flexible than the WD, a little more expensive and better performing.

Quota management is built in.

Maybe the ReadyNAS Ultra 2, enough storage space, X-RAID2 and you could pick one up for around £215, is this in budget? Is it good enough?

I would go for the Synology. Reviews HERE. Might be a bit pricier now but the wealth of features and the best reliability make it an investment! Great performance and transfer speeds too.

I am running a DS212 in Raid 1 - Flawless.

Previously I had a DS210j, again didnt miss a beat but had the opportunity to upgrade very cheaply so did.
